UGM is the First Campus to Implement Integrated Campus Financial Ecosystem

Universitas Gadjah Mada is the first campus BNI manages as an integrated Campus Financial Ecosystem. According to Deputy President Director of BNI, Adi Sulistyowati, BNI is currently undergoing a banking transformation through Institutional Business Solutions.

“This program has several forms: Student Payment Centers, Virtual Accounts, Cash Management, and other financial solutions,” said Adi Sulistyowati as she witnessed the launching of the BNI Fleksi Pendidikan Pascasarjana UGM collaboration on Tuesday (3/8).

BNI Fleksi Pendidikan is an Unsecured Credit (KTA) facility to fund the education costs of UGM Masters (S2) and Doctoral (S3) students. The signing of the collaboration for the launch of the BNI Fleksi Pendidikan  was carried out by the Dean of the UGM Graduate School, Prof. Siti Malkhamah, and the Head of BNI’s 2nd Institutional Relations Division, Arya Prajaka.

According to Adi Sulistyowati, BNI Fleksi Pendidikan aims to bridge the needs of students who want to continue their education to a higher level, and the facilities are specially designed with the Grace Period scheme. This scheme only makes interest payments within a certain period of time. UGM S2/S3 students can apply for BNI Fleksi Pendidikan financing with a ceiling of up to IDR 500 million.

“Interestingly, they will get a special interest rate with reduced credit costs,” she added.

At this launching, UGM, BNI, and KAGAMA also expanded cooperation in the publication of BNI-GAMA Credit Cards for all UGM academics, including lecturers, employees, alumni, and students. Starting in August 2021, the BNI-GAMA Credit Card can also be owned by a student’s parent or guardian. According to the plan, in the 2022 academic year, students can pay tuition fees for Single Tuition (Uang Kuliah Tunggal, UKT) with a credit card source of funds through the BNI Mobile Banking channel. This event also presents the rector of UGM, Prof. Panut Mulyono, Vice Chancellor for Cooperation and UGM Alumni, Prof. Plenary, Director of Partnership, Alumni, and International Affairs UGM, Dr. Danang Sri Hadmoko, and BNI’s Director of Institutional Relations, Sis Apik Wijayanto.
