Universitas Gadjah Mada provides electric shuttle service for free for all academic communities in UGM, including lecturers, staff, students, etc. This electric shuttle service starts to operate in 2019. There are three types of shuttle which can be seen in Figure 1, 2, and 3. Each specification is described in Figure 4. The shuttle service covers all areas in UGM campus. All the shuttle stops and the shuttle pathways can be seen in Figure 5.
Recently, UGM provided two electric buses with a capacity of 15 passengers each. Further developments for the shuttle bus continue to be made. Figure 8, figure 9, and figure 10 show the shuttle bus development planning at UGM starting from the area analysis, bus route plans, as well as the design of the bus stops that will be built and operated in December 2021. All this while, the electric shuttle buses are used by UGM staff to commute within the university area.
