UGM demonstrates its commitment to an inclusive work environment and shared caregiving roles by providing employee leave entitlements including paternity leave outlined in Rector’s Regulation No. 22 of 2021 and supported by human resource policies in Rector’s Regulation No. 11 of 2023.
UGM provides free public access to educational resources through MOOCs, the eLOK platform, free digital intelligence and skills training, as well as open access to its library and laboratories in support of lifelong learning.
UGM hosts free public lectures, webinars, and seminars featuring experts and international partners to promote inclusive knowledge sharing, interdisciplinary learning, and lifelong education aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
UGM provides publicly accessible executive education and vocational training programs, including certifications, short courses, and human development initiatives, to support lifelong learning for individuals outside the university.
UGM conducts extensive educational outreach beyond campus through nationwide KKN programs and additional community initiatives that deliver tailored learning activities in schools and local communities across Indonesia.
UGM ensures inclusive lifelong learning through university regulations that guarantee equal access to all educational activities for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, or geographic origin.
UGM advances health and well-being through active collaborations at local, national, and global levels, engaging in major health networks such as AHS, ICE–EBM, and IUCGH, participating in the AUN-HPN’s Health Promoting University initiative, and partnering with institutions like Dr. Yap Eye Hospital, RSUD Cilacap, and the Bengkayang Regency government.
UGM delivers outreach programs and projects in the local community that address the pressing health issues still found in Indonesian communities such as stunting, maternal and neonatal health, non-communicable diseases, and dental and mental health. Our programs are delivered through dedicated community service by our students, faculty, and health experts.
