The UGM Student Cooperative (Kopma) successfully held the “Gebyar Perwira” National Entrepreneurship Exhibition virtually on November 28-29. More than 1,000 participants attended the activity.
Head of the UGM Kopma, Amin Bahtiar, said that the 2020 Commissioned Officers raised the theme “Together Build the Nation with Entrepreneurship”. At the peak of the 2020 Commissioned Officers event, the concept of a webinar and talk show was held, which presented several speakers from the bureaucracy, academics, and practitioners in entrepreneurship. Before the peak event, the 2020 Commissioned Officers also presented various competitions related to entrepreneurship targeting students and other business people. Some of them are Business Plan, Business Profile Video Competition, and Poster Competition.
“At the peak of the event, the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia also delivered remarks,” he explained.
Meanwhile, several speakers were invited to the webinar, one of them was Ir. Syahbenol Hasibuan, M.M. (Chairman of the DIY Regional Leadership Cooperative Council). On that occasion, he delivered a presentation related to the steps to become an entrepreneur. Then, Dr. Rangga Almahendra, S.T., M.M. (Lecturer of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, author of 99 Lights in the Sky of Europe and CEO of AdiTV Jogja). He highlighted a lot about business challenges in the digital era and the attitudes entrepreneurs need to have.
Next, the talk show presented dr. Tirta Mandira Hudhi, Founder and CEO of Shoes and Care, as a speaker. On that occasion, dr. Tirta shared his experience in building a business from scratch.
