Gamatechno developed an integrated information application system “Smart Magelang” to support the smart city program of the City Government of Magelang.
The development of the application is a commitment to improving the technology-based life order of the community as well as supporting the smart city program promoted by the government.
Gamatechno’s Public Relations, Bima Sandria Argasona, said that Smart Magelang can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services to the community. Through this application the public can also access various public information in the region.
“So, this application integrates services that exist in more than 20 Regional Apparatus Organizations,” he explained, Monday (2/12).
This application also integrates services in hospitals and BPJS (Social Security Administrator for Health). With this integration, people can access information on room availability in hospitals and even blood stocks through the app.
“Currently, Smart Magelang has 20 features that can be accessed by the entire community of Magelang and outside,” he said.
The Head of Magelang City Office of Informatics and Statistics Communications, Catur Budi Fajar, said that Magelang has been moving towards smart city since 2015. In order to support the achievement of the smart city program in Magelang, he collaborates with Gamatechno, which is a subsidiary of Gama Multi Group UGM.
“We have worked with Gamatechno since 2017 and continue to develop this collaboration until now,” said Catur.
In the future Smart Magelang will be added with a number of features.
“We continue to develop this application. It is hoped that the community can be aware of this technology and make use of it,” he said.
