UGM provides programmes for the local community to learn about energy efficiency and clean energy through Energy Audit Training under the “1000 Cahaya” initiative and renewable energy education in the “Desa Energi Berdikari” village programme.
UGM promotes a public pledge toward 100% renewable energy by advocating fully renewable power systems for IKN, leading national and international clean-energy projects, and collaborating with government and industry partners to accelerate Indonesia’s broader energy transition.
