- Ecological Education Research at ASEAN Level, Faculty of Biology Collaboration with Antioch College, Ohio
The collaboration was conducted under the project Ecological Education Research in the Southeast Asian Region, in partnership with Malaysia (Department of Science Studies, Universiti Malaya) and the Philippines (Ateneo de Manila University Institute of Sustainability). This collaboration aims to advance educational research in ecology within Southeast Asia.
2. Universitas Gadjah Mada collaborates with the Korea-Indonesia Marine Technology Cooperation Research Centre on Marine Research.

The two parties agreed to explore cooperation in Remote Sensing, Coastal Management, Blue Carbon, and Marine and Fisheries Science, in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This collaboration aims to address maritime issues related to blue carbon and other concerns in Indonesia.
3. Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and UGM agree on marine cooperation

The Directorate General of Marine and Coastal Spatial Management (DJPKRL) agreed to several collaborations with UGM, namely with the Faculty of Geography for Thematic Geospatial Information Management of Ecosystems of Conservation Areas, Coastal and Small Islands and Marine Spatial Planning Support. Meanwhile, with the Faculty of Law, DJPKRL agreed to cooperate on Human Resources Capacity Building, Research, Support for the Formation of Legislation, and Legal Advocacy in the Maritime and Marine Spatial Sector. Meanwhile, the cooperation project on the Development and Implementation of the National Seagrass Mapping Framework in Indonesia was signed with UGM, BRIN’s Oceanographic Research Centre, BIG’s Thematic Mapping and Integration Centre, and Hasanuddin University’s Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries.
