Coastal areas cannot be separated from watersheds, coastal areas are influenced by marine and terrestrial ecosystems making them complex areas. The sea, coastline, and coast are important components of coastal area management. The use of coastal land has major consequences for the region, management of the coastal area also requires good management of watersheds. The concept of continuous and dynamic management as well as multidisciplinary collaboration from various parties is needed for the management of the area because each coastal region has a different character.
